I will update this post as the next few days progress... I left Wichita, KS yesterday and stayed at a hotel in Oklahoma City, OK for the night. Am now waiting at the airport in Oklahoma City for flight 1 of 4. The dogs are actually asleep in the stroller; I am happy to see them comfortable and not stressed at this point. I have 5 hours to kill at the airport - coffee, free WiFi, a comfortable table at the window, and my Kindle will keep me not stressed! My focus is just keeping my girls safe and stress-free for the next few days,
At the hotel... waiting for the airport shuttle - The girls in their stroller; this is the best thing ever and they're very comfortable in it... it keeps them safe and I don't have to worry about them getting away from me in crowds or unfamiliar places.
Next stop... flight 2 of 4 - Seattle to Anchorage for an overnight layover.
Hi Michelle! I found your blog via Facebook Somehow... I can't even remember how I found it! As an educator as well I find what you are doing truly inspiring! Three summers ago I visited a friend who moved to Alaska. I went to visit for 10 glorious days! It was only Fairbanks and surrounding area, but I was fascinated by the raw beauty of Alaska! We did make it to Denali and we did drive along the 135 mile long unpaved Denali Highway. But where you are going and what you are doing is not only totally awesome, but it sure takes a very special person to move out to the isolated bush! I wish you nothing but the best! I would love to follow you and your blog! Also I would love to friend you on Facebook! Cheers to you and your 2 fur babies! I love animals too! :
